It is what it is ...
Oh, that's so sad. It made me tear up, too. I held my wiener dog when she had to be put down...hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but I'm glad I did it.
okay, that's just too much for me....I had to run over and get down with Mason and squeeze him, pet him, and rub his belly.....oh and a kiss on the head too.
Still tearing up a little...
Ahhh... tearing up alot....
Good lord, that made me kiss in my kitty, JJ.
That is the one that got me too.
oh, that wasn't good for me to read. The shelby-dog isn't around this weekend (playing at the grandparents while all of us try to be less sick and can pay her more attention). I miss the bug!
I saw this one too and I'd agree. The first time (as an adult) I put a cat down the vet told me not to stay and I felt awful not being there with her. Then a few years ago I put down a cat I'd raised from a kitten for 14 years and it was really important to be there with her. I'm so glad I was there to hold her.
