Scott and I will be voting after I get home from work today, so I'm going to try and leave a little early so that we can get to our polling place before 5:00. Seattle, like the rest of the country, is expecting record turnout, so I'm sure we'll be in a long line - but I don't mind. Just to be a part of it is so exciting.
So, deep breath, and patience to see what happens - and no matter what your beliefs are, VOTE.

I can't believe it's finally here... I voted this morning at 10am and the weird thing is that there wasn't a single person on line in front of me. It took me all of three minutes (and I live in a pretty populated city less than 2 miles outside of NYC). Thankfully, I was #335 so a good number of my neighbors had already voted ahead of me.
I was in line at 7am this morning as the polls opened here. I still waited about 25 minutes.
Apparently this is our last year for polling sites because WA is going to a mail in ballot only or so the rumor is. I went at 7:15am and the line seemed reasonable though I have never had to wait in line to vote. Then I got inside and there was a chaos of lines. They really needed to think the layout better because lines were intertwining with other lines. Totally lame. But I voted! And I got my sticker!
I was in line for 1 1/2 hr., saw a fight almost break out due to a guy cutting in line, and almost saw my ballot go to someone else. Still, it was all worth it!
History will be made :)
I was in line at 6:06 this morning already behind about 36 people.
Ky may not be a battleground state for president, but we're gonna Ditch Mitch to help up the democtatic presence in the Senate!
