Tell me it isn't so! 41? You don't look a day over...oh, say...28 or 29. (You can pay me later..). Happiest of days. Oh, for the record, it was my grandparents who had this particular TV set. We used to stare and stare at how pretty it was.
Wow! That is a really really really old TV set! ;P
My parents had a set like that. The finish was called "blonde." That was the big style trend in wood back then... blonde. All the knobs were skinny except the huge channel-dial, which clunked among the four available channels as if it were adjusting the Hoover Dam. Good shows, though... My Favorite Martian, Laugh-In, and the perrenial reruns of I Love Loosely.
Do I smell cake? Hey Matt, you know how to blow out those candles, right... it's a lot like whistling. Happy birthday, youngster.
