People are all panties-in-a-bunch that Sarah Palin's Newsweek cover wasn't retouched.
WHAT WHAT WHAT?????
Excuse my obvious anger and WTF-ness, but WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I will cut my regular long-winded rant short and simply say: If you are voting for someone based TO ANY EXTENT on their physical appearance - or how it is portrayed in a NEWS MAGAZINE - than I do not care to have any further discussions with you.
Oh, and please do not bother voting. Please.
(And yes, I'm fully aware that I have just stomped all over my usual "I want to hear from every opinion" ideal - but this is just way over the top. Too much. My tolerance is GONE).
And everyone, be very glad that I didn't even get started on this crap.

It's obvious the point they are making. It's not about a retouched photo, it's about Newsweek obviously favoring one candidate over the other. Which they don't agree with. I'm sure if the tables were turned, and Palin was airbrushed and not Obama people would be just as mad.
(and just for the record I'm not a Republican so there is no bias for me here)
personally, I don't feel any pics should be retouched. But...if I knew I was going in for a photo shoot, I would be a hairplucking bitch! So if there are some unwanted hairs showing, Shame on Sarah for negligent personal hygiene.
Carrisa, you are right - the point is that one candidate was favored in a certain way. And yes, if it were the other way around there would be cries of "foul". I guess I do take exception to this because one of the most common things heard about Palin, especially when her candidacy was first announced, was how attractive she is - so it seems to me that some of her supporters feel that THAT is what's being attacked. Like that's one of her qualifications, and it's unfair to attack her that way.
C'mon ... it's not like it was Katie Couric who exposed the fact that Sarah has a few wrinkles ...
wow, i missed this - i miss so much when i'm travelling - but is this just fox news being mcsame-centric?
is this hitting other news sources?
