MatterPics, and I'm Still Standing (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah ... )

I'm entering the frantic, mega-stressful throes of fiscal year-end at work. Yay me.

I have, like last month, too many things to get done this week, and I'm not sure that it will all happen. But what will be will be, and I'd give anything to sleep through the night and not have dreams of spreadsheets and ledgers and stupid mistakes from ignorant people from three years ago that I'm STILL TRYING TO FIX.

So let's take a deep breath and visit the Northwest Garden Show that Scott and I attended last weekend at the Washington State Convention Center. It is, sadly, the last year for the show, which is one of the top three largest in the country ... so enjoy these last pictures ...

Well, I know how *I* rub with love, but I suspect they had something else in mind entirely.

The flower and garden show pictures brought back many very happy memories. My daughters and I always loved the New England Horticultural society show that was always held during the week of St. Patrick's Day (it was Boston, natch!). They loved the show and we always did a lot of photography.

Love the pics, cuz. The evergreen shot was amazing, as were the home garden scenes. Yes, Scott looked pretty, too! ;-) Sorry it is so crazy at work. I remember when dad was an accountant; we hardly ever saw him at tax time. Love you!

The forsythia are quite bright in their abundance and height. I look forward to seeing these bloom, hopefully sooner rather than later. ;-)

The "how do you rub with love" sign cracked me up.
