Oh, that's so sad. It made me tear up, too. I held my wiener dog when she had to be put down...hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but I'm glad I did it.
okay, that's just too much for me....I had to run over and get down with Mason and squeeze him, pet him, and rub his belly.....oh and a kiss on the head too.
oh, that wasn't good for me to read. The shelby-dog isn't around this weekend (playing at the grandparents while all of us try to be less sick and can pay her more attention). I miss the bug!
I saw this one too and I'd agree. The first time (as an adult) I put a cat down the vet told me not to stay and I felt awful not being there with her. Then a few years ago I put down a cat I'd raised from a kitten for 14 years and it was really important to be there with her. I'm so glad I was there to hold her.
