Crappy news today.
No one in our firm is safe apparently. I'm actually very, very nervous about keeping my job. There's nothing irreplacable about my position, it seems.

Ugh. Ugh. And Ugh again. I'm so sorry to hear this (continued) bad news...it seems to be in the water. We've just announced layoffs as well....although I think we'll be safe. This is some hell of a great world we're living in.

Sorry to hear that Matt. We just went through one round of lay offs too. I know the feeling.

Ugh. That really sucks, especially right before the holidays. I hope you'll get through OK.
I know from the number of times I've watched Ray go through this at his company, that no amount of support on our end is going to keep that knot from forming in your stomach every morning when you leave for the office. But I'm sending my good vibes anyway :)
It sucks that companies are even thinking about this two weeks before Christmas. Someone I follow on Twitter announced that a round of layoffs emptied out her department yesterday.
Matt, sorry to hear about this. I'll be sending you good vibes from Portland.

Oh, Matter. How are we both in this situation again, again?! I can't take the stress. I hope you're hanging in there. We were just told that we'll get the news in three stages - January, June & Sept. I guess I'll hope to survive past January. :(
