All the political satire shows are having a field day with Ms Palin and the election in general. I remember a time when presidential elections were serious affairs. The last several have seemed to threaten running off the rails at any moment, each one more chaotic than the one before.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that this is no way to elect a president.
Will, I agree in general. I don't remember being involved in any presidential elections where it serious and dignified - but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be, to an extent.
I do believe, however, that humor and satire have a way to reach people in a large setting, just as any emotion does.
