February 12 of 12

You know the drill. Post 12 pictures of your day on the 12th of every month. Courtesy of Chad, our founder.

Here we go, kids.

All pictures were taken on Friday, February 12, 2010 in Seattle, Washington.

7:35 a.m.: Chilly, foggy morning in Seattle. But no snow this winter!!! Yay!!!!

7:38 a.m.: The Devil Towers on Capitol Hill. Bzzz.

7:40 a.m.: If I can make eye contact with you, you are being crushed in the back of the garbage truck.

9:15 a.m.: Spending the day going through our master vendor file. *eyes crossing*

1:19 p.m.: The view from my desk. Yes, there are pink and white cherry trees blooming. On February 12. Global warming HAS come to Seattle.

2:30 p.m.: We're subleasing part of our office space, so we're all moving around in the building. Most of my end of the third floor is already empty.

3:17 p.m.: Did I mention the vendor files were making my eyes cross???

4:02 p.m.: The Honeycrisp apple I brought for breakfast is still untouched.

5:32 p.m.: The Devil Towers again. Bzzz.

7:18 p.m.: The Devil Towers at night. Bzzz.

7:58 p.m.: Dinner. Scott's working late, so it's me and frozen pasta. Pretty good, actually.

8:50 p.m.: Just starting to get through a nasty cold. This is my best friend. Especially when I don't have to wake up for the next few days. Thanks, Presidents!

Thanks for stopping by! Y'all have been the best 12 of 12 audience ever, I mean that!!

I have to say I love your cold/headache remedies in the US Matt. Our tablets are a bit weak and wobbly in comparison. I had a kicker of a headache and bought something from an airport in the Dominican Republic that I can't remember the name of now but oh boy..welcome to Planet Tripout, bye bye headache :)

Anyway, sorry for the tangent, very nice pics as always. Don't look directly at the Devil Towers, lest they might steal your soul!

We have your snow here in Atlanta. Please come get it and return our Cherry Tree Blossoms. Thanks.

Hope the fake NyQuil cures your cold and that your eyes uncross soon. Enjoyed your 12 of 12.

I'm so envious of your blooming trees.....and so ready for spring. Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Whatever are we going to do next year without Chad to host 12 of 12? I hate to quit.....it's such a great way to get me out to shoot. See you next month.

PS - where did you get your poppy door mat? I love poppies.

Still gorgeous even with crossed eyes. :)

Not to be too critical, but I get a mixture of "I'm stressed at work" and "I think I confused Milk of Magnesia for a strawberry milkshake" from that expression on your face! (For the record, I think either is equally appropriate...)

Where are the kids?

I think a bigger breakfast would help. :o)

You sure it's not the Devil Towers making your eyes crossed? ;-)

Too much spreadsheet work, and I know the feeling though... but yay for no snow, and for cherry blossoms!

The Devil Towers don't look so evil at night but I'm sure it's all a ruse to steal my soul. Joke's on them, I've already sold it. :-) Just kidding. Thanks for sharing your day and your great photos.

For those visiting Seattle for the first time, taking a tour is an excellent way to get a crash course on local history, attractions and upcoming events.

Seattle is home to delicious regional cuisine, and the Savor Seattle Food Tour takes guests on a culinary adventure through the famous Pike Place Market. This two-hour walking tour gets behind the scenes at the top local vendors and acclaimed restaurants.

Don’t miss out on the gorgeous Puget Sound while in Seattle. The best way to truly experience it is to take a lake cruise. The Royal Argosy Lunch Cruise features a three-course lunch and some of the best views of the Sound.

For land lovers, the Seattle Double Decker Tour is an easy way to see the best sites of Seattle. Hop on or off at any attraction, or ride the entire loop for a complete tour.
